Yen graduated from the Hanoi University of Technology (Chemical Technology Faculty). She was also awarded her Certificate of Intellectual Property by the National Office of Industrial Property of Vietnam.

     Her practice emphasis is on the areas of patent and copyright law including preparation and prosecution of patent applications, representing clients in patent opposition and cancellation proceedings, and providing advice on strategies for maintenance and protection of intellectual property.
